Hi I'm Sharon, Just a girl who loves dogs ...

... and I’m thrilled to share my love of dogs with you! After years as an Early Years Teacher, I’ve decided to follow my heart and dedicate my time to caring for dogs. Having worked with little ones, I’m well-versed in handling neediness, giving unconditional love, and creating safe, nurturing environments.

My love for dogs began when my family got a border collie puppy during my childhood. Since then, I’ve been hooked! Thankfully, I married a fellow dog lover, and together we have one son and a beloved cocker spaniel named Chester (affectionately known as Chestie, Chest Hair, or Baby Boy). Chester is our spoiled fur baby, and now that I have the freedom to be home full-time, I’m able to give him, and other dogs; the care and attention they deserve.

Over the years, I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs and dreamed of a house full of pups. When you trust me to care for your dog, you can rest assured they’ll be treated like family. I’ll listen to your requests, follow your routines, and ensure your dog is loved, safe, and happy.

Walks in a private, enclosed field (great for dogs not used to being off-lead) and plenty of ball-throwing fun.

Plenty of Exercise

A safe and loving home environment where they’ll be treated as one of our own.

I’m a licensed dog hotel and walker with Wiltshire Council, fully insured under Pawsome Pooches, DBS-checked, and certified in Dog First Aid and Dog Walking & Pet Sitting. You can find copies of my certificates in the photos section of my profile.

Please Note: If you book a meet-and-greet, I kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange.

We absolutely love our dogs staying with Sharon & her family.  The communication is fabulous, we know Hattie & Peppa wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

  • How many dogs do you board at once?
I limit the number of dogs I board to 5 including my dog, to ensure each pet gets individual care and attention. However it is very rarely that I have 5 boarding as like the walking i like to keep the numbers down to offer as much one to one care as I can.
  • What should I bring for my dog during boarding?
Please bring your dog’s food, leash, bedding, and any favourite toys. If your dog is on medication, provide clear instructions. Please also provide evidence showing your dogs vaccinations are up to date.
  • Do I pick up dogs from their location or do they need to be dropped at Pawsome Pooches for Day care and Home Boarding?
In special circumstances I have transport to pick up dogs and bring them back to my home.
  • How is your house set up for home boarding?
The dogs do not sleep outside. There are dog beds around the house for cosy naps and if your dog is crate trained, there’s a space for that too. We have dog gates around the stairs and front door. The garden is enclosed by a gable end wall, large garden wall on one side and a fence with gate on the other.
  • How long are the dog walks?
Walks are 30-60 mins depending on which you have paid for. This can also be adjusted for the needs of a puppy or a dog that doesn’t need much exercise. Also I can just do a 15 mins check visit to let the dogs have a bathroom break.
  • Are the walks individual or group walks?
I try to be as exclusive in my dog walks as possible but there are times when I may have more than 1 dog. On busier days I may have 4 to walk but my husband with join me so we have two dogs each. This keeps us focused on the dogs we are walking and keeps the element of risks less.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Do I walk your dogs in bad weather?
I will still do dog walks unless there is risk to myself or them. If we cannot do a dog walk I will still visit them to play and do enrichment activities.
